Longwood vs. Tennessee Prediction and Pick
Tennessee was bordering on the No. 2 line after upsetting Kentucky and taking home the SEC title, but I’m not sure I can lay the points with the Volunteers in this matchup.
Longwood has something you love from a mid-major team, a solid 3-point shooting attack, and it has covered in 19 games this season.
The Volunteers went undefeated at home this season, but they weren’t as great on the road and at neutral sites, and I think that may help the Lancers here. Rick Barnes’ squad is certainly the more impressive team, but I don’t think Longwood is getting enough credit as a 16.5-point underdog.
The Lancers ran through the Big South, beating No. 2 Winthrop in the conference title game by 21 points. I like this team to cover on Thursday.
