To nobody's surprise, the Los Angeles Dodgers are once again the cream of the crop in Major League Baseball.

The Dodgers sport a 77-33 record; the best in all of baseball. They're so dominant that they've only been underdogs TWICE all season!

So, how can we take advantage of this as bettors? One way to gain an edge is to simply ignore their sky-high moneyline odds completely, and take them -1.5 on the run line instead.

Dodgers Are Dominant on the Run Line

The Dodgers (77-33 ML | 69-41 RL) don't have the best run line record in MLB. that accomplishment belongs to the Orioles (58-52 ML | 72-38 RL) at this point of the season. But, nobody matches the Dodgers when it comes to winning by multiple runs.

As of Tuesday, 89.3% of their wins have come by at least two runs. Today, that number is up to 89.6%! Over their current 10-game winning streak, all 10 victories have been by 2+ runs.

All this means is if you think the Dodgers will win, over a 110 game sample in 2022, there's an almost 90% chance they'll cover the run line. Over the long term, you might as well get the bigger payout by betting on their run line, rather than the much less favorable moneyline odds all together.

Unsurprisingly, the Dodgers also have the highest run differential in MLB at +236. That's 32 runs than the next best team, the New York Yankees, who are at +204.

They'll head to Kansas City to take on the Royals in a three-game series beginning on Friday. With K.C amongst the worst run differential teams in baseball (-116), there's no need to get conservative when betting on the Dodgers.
