Louisiana Tech vs. Florida International Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 9
By Reed Wallach
Florida International has been rated as one of the worst teams in college football, but it stunned Charlotte as a double digit underdog last week, boat racing the 49ers in a 34-15 win. It was such a shock that Charlotte fired their head coach.
Now FIU looks to make it two in a row against a banged up Louisiana Tech team that may be starting their third string quarterback Landry Lyddy. Could the Panthers make it two straight wins, or will the Bulldogs get back on track after two straight losses?
Here are the odds from this Conference USA matchup on Friday night:

Louisiana Tech vs. Florida International Prediction and Pick
La. Tech being down to its third string quarterback makes a tough handicap an even tougher one. How much do weigh FIU's win over a spiraling Charlotte team last week as part of a team turning the corner or the fact that the 49ers defense is terrible and they ended up firing their coach?
Louisiana Tech's defense isn't all that much better, bottom 10 in the country in tackles for loss, rush yards allowed and explosive pass and rush defense. However, it will be facing arguably the worst offense in the country, who scored more than 21 points against an FBS foe for the first time last week.
FIU does play fast, 21st in the country in plays per minute, but I can't trust it to put up points against anybody. Meanwhile, likely on a third string quarterback, it can be a dragging matchup for Louisiana Tech. I can only look at the under here considering I can't trust either offense.
