Louisville vs. Arkansas Prediction and Odds for Monday, November 21 (Arkansas Needs to Find Its Range in Maui)
By Josh Yourish
Arkansas has looked great this season, and Eric Mussleman’s Razorbacks haven’t even seen the No. 3 recruit in the country, Nick Smith Jr. in a game yet. Smith has dealt with injuries that have kept him out of the first three wins of the season, but the other freshmen have impressed alongside Davonte Davis.
No. 9 Arkansas looks like a real threat to be one of the best teams in the country and if Smith makes his debut in Maui, the Razorbacks could be even more impressive.
They may not need to bring back Smith for Louisville though because the Cardinals are 0-3 with losses to Bellarmine, Wright State and App State. Their three losses have come by a combined three points.

Louisville vs. Arkansas Prediction and Pick
A trip to Hawaii is exactly what Kenny Payne’s team needs right now. Three-straight one point losses to start the year and start a coaching tenure is absolutely brutal. This team is better than 0-3 even though that doesn’t mean they’re any good. El Ellis is carrying them offensively, averaging 24 points per game, he had 29 of the Cardinals' 60 points against App State.
Arkansas hasn’t played nearly as well as it can. Eric Musselman teams love to play fast and put up points, but through three games the Razorbacks are only averaging 73.7 points per game and shooting 27.1% from 3. If the shooting improves then they will become a lethal offensive team, but until they prove that they have enough shooting I won’t expect it from a pretty young team.
The Razorbacks just got to Hawaii as the No. 9 team in the country and see an 0-3 Louisville team in front of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they let their foot off the gas a little bit in this one and can’t cover a big spread.
Pick: Louisville +15.5 (-110)
