Auburn escaped last week with a home win against Missouri in overtime, but now face a far tougher test in LSU, who is starting to look like the contender Brian Kelly had hoped for when he came to Baton Rogue.

Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin's seat continues to get warmer as Auburn battles injuries at key positions such as quarterback and the team's play declines. Will this be his final game as coach with LSU visiting town?

Let's get you ready for this SEC showdown with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook:

LSU vs. Auburn Prediction and Pick

It's hard not to see the writing on the wall for Harsin, who has struggled in his year-plus with Auburn, and now he has limited options on offense. Quarterback T.J. Finley wasn't playing great to begin with, but an injury to his shoulder that will likely keep him out a second straight game will leave Robby Ashford as the starting QB.

Ashford is more of a runner with the ball than anything and he will be under duress all game against a strong LSU front seven that is 23rd in sacks nationally and is top 20 in points allowed per drive.

Auburn's offense will have little to no answers for the Tigers and will be playing from behind the sticks all game. However, the Tigers defense has kept their team in games so far this season, ranking top 20 in defensive line yards and 50th in success rate. While Jayden Daniels is starting to find his groove at QB, Auburn's defense should keep the scoring to a minimum.

I do lean towards the LSU side with all the questions for Auburn, but I think the under is the safer route given that Auburn's offense will likely be capped at 17 points. LSU should be able to crack 20 given they will be winning the field position battle, but I'd rather bet the total than the side.

LEAN: UNDER 44.5
