Wednesday night features several key SEC matchups but this game might be the best of the bunch. LSU hits the road to take on Auburn in an all-Tigers conference clash.

The LSU Tigers have been one of the best teams in the nation so far this year with a spotless 12-0 record and are in line to make a run at the SEC title.

Meanwhile, Auburn is also having a phenomenal start to the year with an 11-1 record and remains unbeaten at home. The team is averaging 79.6 points per game thanks to Jabari Smith and Wendel Green who are each averaging over 10 points per game.

Here are the odds for this matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

LSU vs. Auburn and Pick

This is the SEC game to watch tonight with two teams that have only one loss between them.

LSU is a defense-first kind of team; allowing opponents to score an average of 54.1 points per game. They also average 5.2 blocks and 12.8 steals per game on the defensive end.

Their offense averages 79.6 points per game; allowing them to cruise to several easy wins. LSU’s key players include Tari Eason who is scoring 16.3 PPG and adding 7.5 boards. He is one of two Tigers to average double-digit scoring along with Xavier Pinson (10.8 PPG)

While LSU has one of the best defenses in the nation, they will be tested tonight by a tough Auburn offense. The Tigers average 81.1 points per game thanks to Jabari Smith and Wendel Green who are each averaging over 10 points per game.

Auburn is a top-20 team on both ends of the court and present the toughest challenge that LSU has faced thus far. Despite leading the nation in defensive efficiency, I think that LSU falters in their first conference action of the year and falls for the first time this season.

Pick: Auburn Tigers -3.5 (-110)
