Every sports bettor loves the Mid-American Conference for one main reason: MACtion.

Outside of Monday and Thursday night primetime NFL games, football fans and bettors are desperate for football throughout the week, and that’s where the MAC delivers. It’s the only conference that has midweek games, which makes it hold a special place in the hearts of sports bettors desperate for action on those days.

The Ball State Cardinals won its first ever MAC Championship last season, upsetting No. 23 ranked Buffalo 38-28.

Odds to win the 2021 MAC

Here are the odds via WynnBET to win the 2021 MAC Championship Game.

  • Toledo +250
  • Ball State +325
  • Buffalo +450
  • Ohio +500
  • Central Michigan +700
  • Kent State +900
  • Western Michigan +1200
  • Eastern Michigan +2500
  • Miami-Ohio +3000
  • Northern Illinois +5000
  • Akron +10000
  • Bowling Green +20000

Toledo Favored to Win First Conference Championship Since 2017

The Toledo Rockets sit atop the odds list to be crowned Champions of the MAC this season. They’ve appeared in six conference championship games, winning three of them. Their latest win came in 2017 when they defeated Akron 45-28.

Toledo finished 4-2 in the shortened 2020 season, losing two heartbreaking games to Western Michigan and Ball State, with both losses coming by only three points.

If Carter Bradley, Tucker Gleason, or Dequan Finn can prove to be successful under center, the Rockets should be in for a successful season.

Ohio Presents Great Value at +500

The Bobcats have one of the best running backs in the MAC in De’Montre Tuggle, and he’s expected to lead the Ohio offense in 2021. He amassed 403 yards in only three games.

Ohio, along with Miami, played the fewest amount of games among all MAC teams in 2020. The Bobcats finished with a 2-1 record, and their only loss was a 30-27 defeat to Central Michigan.

We don’t know what to expect from Ohio this year given the lack of play in 2020, but with the amount of weapons it has on offense, it should be a force to be reckoned with in the conference.

The Bobcats are 0-4 in Conference Championship games, so they’ll look to break that streak this season. They provide great betting value at +500.
