Magic vs Celtics Prediction and Odds: Will Orlando Get Crushed in their Third Straight Game?
By Matt De Saro
The Orlando Magic continue to underperform, are on a four-game losing streak, and possess the second-worst record in the NBA. They are one of only two teams with a winning percentage under .200 along with the Detroit Pistons. Their latest effort saw them get crushed 136-118 by the Milwaukee Bucks. It was the second game in a row that the Bucks beat up on them after a 127-110 win on Tuesday. To say things are looking bad in Orlando would be an understatement.
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics are coming off a very impressive win over the Phoenix Suns 123-108 on Friday night. While they have had issues winning games consistently, this was a good example of how dangerous they can be when they step up. It was also a nice bounce-back win after suffering three straight losses on the road to the Clippers, Timberwolves, and Bucks.

Magic vs. Celtics Prediction and Pick
What makes the Celtics' most recent win over the Suns impressive wasn’t the lopsided final score. But, for me, it was the fact they did it without Jayson Tatum on the court. Tatum is still questionable to play tonight due to being in health and safety protocols. In a spot of good news, guards Dennis Schroder, Aaron Nesmith, and Bruno Fernando were all removed from the injury report and are expected to see action tonight.
While I do like double-digit underdogs in the NBA, the Magic don’t feel like a team worth betting on tonight. They are 1-3 ATS in their last four games and 3-6 ATS in their last nine. Orlando is 1-5 ATS in their last six games coming off a double-digit home loss as they are today. The Magic are what they are. A team that is rebuilding and looking for a part to build around. What the Magic are not is a good team to bet on right now after losing two lopsided games in a row.
Pick: Boston Celtics -11.5 (-110)
