The Tennessee Titans are expected to take a step back this season after several key departures, including star wide receiver AJ Brown, but rookie quarterback Malik Willis is a rocket ship and I'm thrilled to watch him face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in NFL Preseason Week 2.

Willis was electric in the Titans' Week 1 loss to the almighty Baltimore Ravens, completing six of 11 passes for 107 yards while rushing for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Josh Yourish likes the over in this matchup, in large part because of Willis. Tampa Bay's offense looked strong last week as well, but where does the value lie for bettors?

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook before I jump into the game:

Spread:

  • Buccaneers +2.5 (+100)
  • Titans -2.5 (-120)

Moneyline:

  • Buccaneers: +120
  • Titans: -145

Total:

  • 38.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Buccaneers vs Titans Odds, Spread and Total Movement in NFL Preseason Week 2

The odds haven't moved since Josh wrote up his preview, so oddsmakers are confident in their initial assessment. Regardless, I see clear value on one side.

Buccaneers vs Titans Best Bet and Prediction

Malik Willis is so much fun.

Like, what on Earth is THAT throw?

Beautiful, that's what. I've long been a huge Willis fan and thoroughly believe he should start over Ryan Tannehill. His rushing ability gives him a margin of error other quarterbacks can't afford, and I think he'll turn into a quality starter over time.

Tampa Bay's defense looked subpar last week and Willis should take advantage. As long as Head Coach Mike Vrabel lets Willis play more than Logan Woodside, who averaged 4.3 yards per attempt with two interceptions in the loss, then Tennessee should win.

Back the Titans as Willis dazzles and continues to raise eyebrows within the organization.

Pick: Titans -2.5 (-120)
