Maple Leafs vs. Lightning Prediction and Odds (Take Shot on Maple Leafs as Rare Underdogs)
By Joe Summers
Two of the best teams in hockey square off tonight as the 43-18-7 Tampa Bay Lightning host the 44-19-5 Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at 7:30 p.m. EST.
Toronto has won four straight, all by multiple goals, while the Lightning saw a four-game winning streak of their own snapped by the Canadians in their last game.
These squads split the season series to this point, with Toronto nabbing a 2-1 win in November and Tampa Bay getting revenge a month later in a 5-3 victory.
Can the Maple Leafs stay hot for their fifth straight win or will Tampa Bay hold serve at home?
Here are the odds from WynnBET as we look for value in this Maple Leafs vs Lightning matchup:

Maple Leafs vs Lightning Prediction and Pick
Toronto has been one of the premier teams in the league all year. On top of its sterling record, the Leafs are fourth leaguewide in expected goal percentage while the Lightning are 10th.
The Maple Leafs are in better form, as well. They're won seven of their last nine while the Lightning are in a middling (by their standards) 4-4 stretch.
Perhaps the best bit of news, however, is that star goalie Jack Campbell is back in goal for Toronto. He struggled prior to missing 10 games due to injury, but I'm betting he'll return to the form that made him one of the best goalkeepers in the sport.
Tampa Bay has been incredible at home, with a 21-6-5 record. But when value presents itself, you have to take it. I'll happily take plus money on one of the best teams in the world to stay hot.
Pick: Maple Leafs +110
