Marcus Peters Says Josh Allen Is a Great Trash Talker
By Peter Dewey
The Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen ascend to the NFL’s elite last season. Allen is apparently letting everyone know it.
Allen led the Bills past the Baltimore Ravens in last year’s playoffs, and Ravens cornerback Marcus Peter revealed that Allen is among the biggest trash talkers in the NFL.
“You know who turned me up last year?” Peters told Aqib Talib when he was asked which offensive player talks the most. “Josh Allen bruh.
“He’s talking big s---, bruh. And that s--- was cool because it’s like it wasn’t to be disrespectful or nothing, it’s just that he out here just real s--- talking. You know how our s--- be. It’s real s--- talking until somebody take the s--- talking personal.”
Hey, you can talk the talk if you walk the walk, and Allen certainly has turned the Bills around since being drafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. Allen led Buffalo to the AFC Championship Game last season and now Buffalo has a projected win total of 10.5 on WynnBET in 2021 with the over (-150) being favorite to the under (+125).
Allen is also currently tied as the second betting favorite to win the 2021 NFL MVP award on WynnBET. He has +1000 odds (bet $100 to win $1000), the same as Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Allen finished second in the MVP voting in 2020.
Peters is a notorious trash talker, so he is showing some serious respect towards Allen by designating him as the best trash-talking offensive player. Allen’s numbers back it up as well, as he threw for 4,544 yards, 37 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions last season.
The Bills are trying to begin their own dynastic run in the AFC East with the Tom Brady era over in New England, and Allen has the talent and confidence to be the face of the takeover.
Peters and Allen won’t get to square off during the 2021 regular season, but there’s a good chance they meet again in the playoffs. How sweet would it be if those two were mic’d up for that matchup? We can only hope, because the content would be amazing.
