Marcus Morris was lights out in the first half of Monday’s Game 4 between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Utah Jazz, and his 5-for-6 performance from beyond the arc in the game helped the Clippers even the series.

The Clippers and their fans were able to breathe a collective sigh of relief, as Morris finally broke the 1-for-16 slump from 3-point range through the first three games against Utah.

So what changed? It appears Morris had a lucky charm in the stands on Monday night.

Markieff Morris, Marcus’ twin brother and member of the Los Angeles Lakers, showed up to support his brother and the Clippers forward delivered.

Markieff also attended the Clippers Game 7 win over the Dallas Mavericks where Marcus dropped 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc.

I’m just spitballing here, but Markieff is a free agent this offseason. Maybe the Clippers need to add him to their bench.

Marcus Morris has been a solid third option for the Clippers all season long, and he shot a career-high 47.3 percent from 3-point range during the regular season.

That made Marcus’ playoff struggles even more frustrating, as the Clippers, the NBA’s best 3-point shooting team, clearly relies on him to space the floor around Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

After dropping the first two games in Utah, the Clippers are now back on track in the series with back-to-back blowout wins.

WynnBET has Los Angeles as a +104 underdog to win the series, but with the momentum on the Clippers’ side, that feels like a great value heading into Game 5. Los Angeles is currently a 2.5-point underdog in Game 5 in Utah, but the Jazz will need to turn things around quickly after two poor showings in L.A.
