Marquette and North Carolina are set to face in the East Region's 8/9 matchup with the winner advancing to face Baylor.

The Tar Heels come into the NCAA Tournament hot, knocking off Duke in the regular season finale before bowing out in the ACC Tournament semifinal against Virginia Tech.
