Marquette vs. Providence Prediction and Odds (Golden Eagles Continue Road Dominance)
The Marquette Golden Eagles ride a seven-game winning streak heading into today's college basketball action. The streak began with an 88-56 win over the Providence Friars on January 4th, and now they'll face them in a rematch in a Sunday Big East showdown.
Providence has also been undefeated since its first game against Marquette, but the Friars winning streak is only at four due to multiple games being delayed due to COVID-19. Entering today's matchup, Providence is ranked No. 17 in the latest AP Poll, and Marquette is ranked No. 22.
Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for today's Big East action.

Marquette vs. Providence Prediction and Pick
I don't believe we're going to see a 32-point blowout like we saw the last time these two teams met, but I'll gladly take Marquette as an underdog in this spot.
Even though it's a road game for the Golden Eagles, don't let that sway your decision too much. They are one of the few teams in the country who seems to step up their game when away from their home stadium. In fact, their effective field goal percentage is 1.3% better on the road compared to at home.
I don't think Providence is going to shoot a measly 32.8% from the field like they did against Marquette last time, but their 14 turnovers is certainly a cause for concern, especially considering how good Marquette is at forcing those turnovers.
If you're betting based on statistics, this should certainly be a close game. But with that being said, I'd lean towards the underdog Golden Eagles.
