Iowa and Maryland are set to do battle on Monday night at Carver Hawkeye Arena as part of a Big Ten doubleheader.

The Hawkeyes vaunted offense and historically good home ATS numbers will be a tough test for the visiting Terrapins, who are playing their first true road game of the season.

After coach Mark Turgeon left the team in early December, the Terps have started to show signs of life, beating Florida on a neutral floor on Dec. 12. Now they face a serious test in their first true road game in Iowa City, where Hawkeyes head coach Fran McCaffrey has dominated Big Ten foes in the past.

Since he took over in 2010, McCaffrey-led Iowa teams are 94-59-5 ATS in Big Ten contests, 73-48-4 at home.

Further, this matchup should suit the Hawkeyes well, who have the lowest turnover rate in the country and are No. 4 in KenPom's offensive efficiency metric.

Iowa should run their offense with ease against a Maryland defense that is 297th in turning opponents over nationally. I can see Iowa pushing 90 points in this game while the Terps struggle to keep up -- the team is shooting 30.2% from beyond the arc this season, 287th in the country.
