The Michigan State Spartans wrap up their regular season at the Breslin Center at home against the Maryland Terrapins.
The Spartans, despite losers of four of their last five games remain firmly in the NCAA tournament discussion, coming in as a likely 8 or 9 seed via the latest projections at BracketMatrix.
Meanwhile, despite the down year for the Terps, they have won four of their last give games in Big Ten play, including a 15-point win vs. the same Ohio State team that beat the Spartans by 11 in their last game.

There's been slight movement on the under in today's game from the opening number of 143, and I think the move makes sense.
Michigan State has struggled on defense during this recent stretch, but the Spartans have been much better at home on that side of the ball.
Over their last five games, despite ranking amongst the worst teams in college basketball on defense, they've only given up 73.5 points at home to two of the best teams in college basketball: Illinois and Purdue.
In their three losses away from the Breslin Center, they've given up an average of 84.3 points.
For what it's worth, even with these brutal stretches on defense, the OVER has only hit in two of Michigan State's last five games.
Maryland's response during the final stretch of the season has been admirable, but the Spartans' defense should return to the fold on Senior Day in East Lansing.
