It's another championship game, which means another million-dollar wager for Jim 'Mattress Mack' McIngvale,

The 70-year old founder of Gallery Furniture got his nickname from wearing mattresses in goofy TV commercials more than 40 years ago, has now become synonymous with large bets ahead of high profile games.

According to WynnBET, Mattress Mack recently wagered $1 million on the Alabama Crimson Tide at odds of +120 for a potential payout of $1.2 million. Mack, a resident of Houston, Texas, traveled out to Colorado to place the wager at WynnBET.

Mack told the Bet to Wynn Podcast with Claudia Bellofatto and Joe Fann that he wasn't even considering a bet on this game, but once Alabama reached the line they were at, he was ready to pounce.

"I had no interest in running a promotion on this national championship game until I saw the fact that Alabama was a 2.5, 3-point underdog."

Mattress Mack Moved the Line for the College Football National Championship

Due to the large amount taken in on Mack's wager, the oddsmakers at WynnBET have adjusted their lines since.

Right now, a moneyline bet on Alabama to defeat Georgia would pay out at +115, or $115 on a $100 bet. The spread has also shifted back towards the Bulldogs side. After hanging around -3 for most of the week, Georgia remains available at WynnBET at -2.5 (-115). Bettors interested in grabbing Alabama at +2.5 can do so at discounted odds of -105.

WynnBET also paid out a big winner during Sunday night's NFL regular season finale, as one bettor cashed in on a $1,000 parlay with the Jacksonville Jaguars defeating the Indianapolis Colts, as well as the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders ending the game in regulation in a tie.

The result, a payout of $116,000 with the parlay odds of +11500.
