Kristaps Porzingis won’t be in the lineup for the Dallas Mavericks when they travel to face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, but we still should have a great matchup.

New York has won three of the last four matchups between these two teams since the Porzingis trade, but can it shake it’s awful record after a win this season on Wednesday night?

The Mavericks won’t be an easy team to beat, as they come into this game on a six-game winning streak.

Here are the latest odds via WynnBET:

Mavericks vs. Knicks Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Mavericks: -3 (-110)
  • Knicks: +3 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Mavericks: -160
  • Knicks: +130

Total:

  • 206 (Over -110/Under -110)

Mavericks vs. Knicks Prediction and Pick

The Knicks could be getting some reinforcements with Kemba Walker and Nerlens Noel both listed as questionable on Wednesday, but the issue isn’t with the Knicks’ roster but rather their inability to string wins together.

New York is just 6-13 straight up and against the spread following a victory this season, and it is coming off one of its more impressive wins over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.

Still, the Knicks have been playing better basketball as of late, ranking seventh in the NBA in defensive rating over their last 10 games. The team in first?

The Dallas Mavericks.

Luka Doncic’s return has done wonders for the Mavs, as they climbed into the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference with this recent win streak.

Both of these teams play at a slow pace, as the Knicks are dead last in the NBA while the Mavericks are 27th in pace this season. Dallas is 6-3 against the spread as a road favorite this season, but I think the under is the better play in this game with both teams playing fantastic defense lately.

Lean: Knicks-Mavericks UNDER 206 (-110)
