Mavericks vs. Warriors Prediction and Odds for Game 2 (Go UNDER on Friday Night)
By Peter Dewey
The Golden State Warriors came out firing in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and blew out the Dallas Mavericks.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson started 1-for-10 from the field, but the Warriors showed they have the versatility on both ends to slow down the Mavericks. Andrew Wiggns had a big game on offense while also checking Luka Doncic, but will that continue in Game 2?

Mavericks vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick
The Mavericks didn’t come out firing after their Game 7 dismantling of the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
They’ll have a chance to bounce back in Game 2, but the Warriors have been a tough team at home this postseason, going undefeated through seven games.
The Mavs aren’t able to play anyone off the floor for Golden State, which could be concerning going forward, but I think there is value in taking the UNDER in Game 2.
The Warriors and Mavericks were both top seven in defensive rating in the regular season, and the Mavericks played at the league’s slowest pace. Golden State really dominated by getting out and running in Game 1, so I wouldn't be surprised if Jason Kidd’s club tries to slow things down to keep Game 2 closer.
Lean: UNDER 214 (-108)
