After it's all said and done, the AAC Championship Game will feature the two teams that everyone though would be head and shoulders above the rest at the start of the season.

SMU claimed the No. 2 seed at the end of the regular season after a roller coaster campaign by Memphis, but the Tigers righted their wrongs in the semifinal, taking down the Mustangs by a final score of 70-63.

Now they'll get to face the Cougars, a team that they're already 2-0 against this season. Memphis beat Houston 69-59 in their first meeting, and then trounced them a second time, 75-61, on March 6th.

Here are the odds via WynnBET for today's AAC Championship Game.

Memphis vs. Houston Prediction and Pick

The fact that Memphis is 2-0 against Houston this season, the line is shorter than I think it should be so I'll gladly jump all over Houston as 4-point favorites.

Memphis has had one glaring issue that has plagued them all season long, and will be their downfall today and in the NCAA Tournament as well; turnovers. Ahead of today's game, the Tigers rank 352nd in the country in turnovers per possession, coughing up the ball on 22.3% of possessions.

Now they take on a Houston team that ranks 30th in opponent turnovers per possession, which means Memphis will need to play that much better in every other aspect of the game if they want to beat the Cougars for the third time this season.

I won't hesitate. Give me Houston -4.

Pick: Houston -4
