Memphis vs. St. Louis Prediction and Odds for Tuesday, November 15 (Can Memphis Grab Second Impressive Road Win?)
By Reed Wallach
The Memphis Tigers were a volatile team last season, fighting to get into the NCAA Tournament all season, but then giving No. 1 seed Gonzaga a run in the second round.
Now, Penny Hardaway will look for more sustainability this season with transfer guard Kendric Davis joining the fold from SMU. The early returns were positive as the Tigers beat Vanderbilt 76-67 last week on the road, and are in St. Louis to face a Bilikens team that is hoping to also get back on track after an uneven season.
St. Louis has looked the part of an Atlantic 10 favorite so far, beating Murray State by 23 and Evansville by 18, will they continue their fine play with their toughest test of the season?

Memphis vs. St. Louis Prediction and Pick
This is a Memphis team that is still short on shot makers and will struggle to keep pace with a talented Bilks team on the road. St. Louis added Missouri transfer Javon Pickett to a rotation that includes standout guard Yuri Collins and sharp shooter Gibson Jimerson that should pay dividends against a physical Memphis squad.
The Tigers are one of the better rebounding teams in the country under Hardaway, but St. Louis can neutralize that with one of the best rebounds in the country in senior big man Francis Okoro. Last season, the Bilks were top 25 nationally in offensive rebounding.
Overall, this line indicates that this game is a near coin flip, but Memphis' inability to shoot from the perimeter is going to cost them in an early road test. St. Louis is a team to buy low on and should win this one by more than a possession. Keep in mind, Travis Ford's team shot 76% from the free throw line last season (35th in the country). If this game is tight late, the Bilks can close this out at the charity stripe.
