The group stage of the Men's Olympic Hockey tournament is all wrapped up, which means it's time to move on to the bracket stage.

The United States, the ROC, and Finland all won their groups, and Sweden finished as the top non-group winning team, which means those four countries have an automatic BYE to the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the rest of the countries will face-off in a qualification playoff.

One of those matchups is a game between Denmark and Latvia. Denmark finished with 2-1-0, with its only loss in the group stage coming to the ROC. Latvia didn't find the same success, losing all three of its group stage games. The puck will drop at 11:10pm et on Monday night.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for tonight's qualification matchup.

  • Latvia +115

Men's Olympic Hockey: Denmark vs. Latvia Prediction and Pick

I'm going to play this one safe, and take Denmark on the moneyline at -175.

They looked impressive in the group stage, beating both Czech Republic and Switzerland, two teams who are superior to Latvia. The Danes even gave the ROC a run for their money, shutting them down defensively for the majority of the game, but failing to score resulted in a 2-0 defeat.

Denmark should have no issue scoring in this round. Latvia is allowing an average of 3.66 goals per game these Olympics.

If you're feeling up for it, you can get aggressive and take Denmark on the -1.5 puck line at +170, but with Denmark playing a defensive style of game, I'm going to stay conservative and lay the juice on the -175 moneyline.

Pick: Denmark -175
