The Mystics, without Delle Donne for all but 13 minutes this month, have a -5.3 net rating and the worst defense in the league. While the team awaits the return of its superstar, the Mercury present value as an underdog.

Brittney Griner has found her form as a shutdown rim protector and the Mercury's defense has returned to expectation, which has turned around its season. While Phoenix enters this game with a 6-15 record, the team is outplaying its record. The opposite can be said for Washington, who has an 11-10 record, but is playing far worse.
