Miami vs. Boston College Prediction and Odds (Trust Miami to Cover on Wednesday)
By Matt De Saro
The Boston College Eagles look to close out their home season tonight against the Miami Hurricanes with a win. This comes after suffering a tough home loss to the Clemson Tigers in their last action.
The loss dropped the Eagles to 10th in the ACC with an 11-17 overall record and little to play for at this point. The Hurricanes, on the other hand, are fourth in the ACC at 20-9 overall. The Canes do need a bit of good luck however after stumbling down the home stretch and losing two of their last three games. They basically need to win tonight to keep their hopes of getting into the NCAA Tournament.
Miami is currently in the bubble but can ill afford another loss to a lesser team. Here are the odds for this ACC rivalry game, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
Miami vs. Boston College Odds, Spread, and Total

Miami vs. Boston College Prediction and Pick
The Miami Hurricanes continue to pick up wins thanks in large part to their offense that ranks 58th in overall scoring and 37th in effective field goal percentage. Their defense is a bit of a liability at times with a 70.8 point average and loses most games against teams who go over that total.
So, the name of the game for Miami is to keep the Eagles from hitting 70 points. The good news for Miami is that the Eagles average 65.9 points per game and would have to have a well-above-average performance to challenge this Canes team.
The Eagles have gone over 70 in just one of their last five games. As one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the nation at 29.8 percent, it’s easy to see why the Eagles struggle to score consistently. In these situations, with tight spreads, I generally favor the team that has a tangible reason to win. Tonight will be no different and I’m banking on the Hurricanes to have another hot night on offense.
Pick: Miami -4 (-110)
