The Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans will face off in a highly anticipated matchup of the in-state Big Ten rivals in East Lansing on Saturday.

Michigan remained undefeated on the season by shutting down Northwestern, 33-7 in Week 9. The Wolverines running back tandem of Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins continued their dominance on the ground, each rushing for over 100 yards and two touchdowns.

Michigan State has been one the biggest surprises of the College Football season, and will come into this contest fresh off a bye week.

Here are the odds for this Big Ten rivalry, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Michigan vs. Michigan State Prediction and Pick

These are two of the best rushing offenses in the country, with big names like Corum, Haskins, and the Spartans running back Kenneth Walker III. Both teams are averaging over 200 rushing yards per game.

Both of these teams have a solid defense as well. Michigan is allowing just 15.5 points per game and Michigan State is allowing 18.7 points per game.

The difference will be the play by the signal callers.

Cade McNamara has been solid under center for the Wolverines, and has been throwing the ball more regularly as the season has gone on. In the first four games, McNamara made a high of 16 pass attempts, but has thrown at least 27 attempts in the last three contests.

McNamara will need to have a strong performance as the Spartan’s defense has shown a weakness in their defensive secondary, allowing 286.1 passing yards per game.

Michigan State’s weak passing defense will be their Achilles’ heel in this contest.

I’m taking the Michigan Wolverines on the spread at -5 and the over 51.5.
