Michigan vs. Tennessee Prediction and Pick

Michigan's biggest weakness, is Tennessee's biggest strength which could prove to be the difference make in this Round of 32 matchup. Tennessee ranks seventh in the country in defensive efficiency, and now they face a Michigan team that has struggled defensively all season, ranking 225th in the aforementioned stat.

They can also do what Colorado State wasn't able to do, which is stop Michigan's interior offense. The Volunteers rank 30th in opponent two-point field goal percentage. For comparison, Colorado State ranked 229th in this stat, allowing the Wolverines to pound the rock down low and dominate them in the second half.

I think Tennessee wins big, and starts to become a serious national championship contender in the eyes of fans.

Pick: Tennessee -6
