The Indiana Hoosiers host their second consecutive Big Ten game at home Sunday afternoon when they welcome the Minnesota Golden Gophers to Bloomington at Assembly Hall.

IU comes off their best win of the young season Wednesday night, defeating No. 13 Ohio State 67-51, holding Naismith Player-of-the-Year candidate E.J. Lindell to 11 points on just 3-of-12 shooting while the Hoosiers' Naismith candidate, Trayce Jackson-Davis, went for 27 points and 12 boards.

The Gophers come off a 23-point home loss to Illinois on Tuesday, falling to 1-2 in the conference.

Is this afternoon an ideal bounce-back spot for Minnesota with Indiana coming off the upset win?

Minnesota vs. Indiana Prediction and Pick

The Gophers have already shown themselves to be capable of pulling off big wins on the road, evidenced by their 75-65 win over Michigan at Ann Arbor back in December. If they're going to do it again, as well as cover the large number in Bloomington, they'll need a monster game out of forward Jamison Battle, who's averaging over 18 points per game for Minnesota.

That won't be an easy task, however.

The Hoosiers have been an impressive defensive bunch in Mike Woodson's first year in charge, giving up just under 61 points per game, top 10 in Ken Pomeroy's adjusted defense ratings.

The problem for Indiana has been consistency on the offensive side of the ball. The Hoosiers are either hitting everything, or they can't score worth a lick. They're also a bit two-faced in the first half or the second half. When the first goes well, they struggle to step on the gas in the second. When the first is a mess, they tend to play much better in the final 20 minutes.

Other than Jackson-Davis, nobody really knows who will step up on the Hoosiers for offensive production. That's a major concern especially vs. a team they could take lightly in an early start at home. Ultimately I expect the Hoosiers to remain undefeated at home, but not to cover.

PICK: Minnesota +11.5 (-105)
