Mississippi State vs. Texas Tech Prediction and Odds (Red Raiders Set to Roll)
By Reed Wallach
Texas Tech has not missed a beat in the Mark Adams era. The team is No. 13 in the country and nearly pulled an improbable upset at Kansas earlier this week, falling in double overtime.
On Saturday the Red Raiders host Mississippi State in the SEC/Big 12 challenge as the Bulldogs look to grab their first road victory of the season. Here are the odds for this matchup courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Mississippi State vs. Texas Tech Prediction and Odds
Texas Tech's defense should be able to shut down Mississippi State's offense with their 'no middle' principles. The team will be able to switch all ball screens and should see an edge on the glass with the Bulldogs down their best big man Tolu Smith.
Mississippi State is going to need some positive regression from three, their perimeter shooting is down to 26% in conference play. Texas Tech will give them those shots, allowing the 7th highest three-point rate in the country, but I don't envision Miss. State getting right on the road in a hostile Lubbock environment.
It's a similar issue on the other side for Texas Tech, who is shooting just as worse from three in Big 12 play. However, the loss of Smith can impact the Bulldogs interior defense that is the calling card of their top 100 defense.
Both teams lost tough games this week with TTU coming up short against Kansas while Mississippi State lost in overtime to Kentucky. Both offenses have been struggling from the perimeter and I fancy both defenses to the offense. In front of a rowdy Texas Tech crowd, I believe we see a rock fight and slow paced game.
LEAN: Under 132.5, Texas Tech -7.5
