Saturday’s showdown between Arkansas and Missouri features two coaches that have done a lot to turn these SEC programs around. Ed Drinkwitz leads the Missouri Tigers against Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks in SEC action in Week 13.

Pittman brought Arkansas back from an 0-8 season in SEC play and we’re on a three-game winning streak before last week’s loss to Alabama. Arkansas managed to hang tight and cover as 20 point underdogs at least.

Mizzou meanwhile is on a two-game win streak with victories over Florida and South Carolina in the last two weeks. Before that was a blowout loss to No 1. Georgia.

Missouri vs Arkansas Prediction and Pick

Arkansas is a heavy favorite heading into this game and but is dealing with several COVID-19 related issues. Luckily for Arkansas, one player that is definitely healthy and ready to go on Friday night is QB KJ Jefferson. The Sophomore has 2,316 yards passing this season along with a stellar TD to INT ratio of 20:3 to go along with a QBR of 75.4. Jefferson is completing 66 percent of his passes and will be difficult for Missouri to slow down.

The Tigers are just 8-22 ATS in their last 30 games on the road but the Razorbacks are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games as a betting favorite. Despite this, Missourisi’s defense doesn’t have the personnel to hang with this team for all four quarters. Maybe they keep it close early on, but it is only a matter of time before the Tigers begin to fall apart and let this game slip away.

Pick: Arkansas -14.5 (-110)
