Friday wasn’t our finest moment. The props went 1-2, with Carlos Rodon serving as our only win of the night. Tonight, I’m looking at the matchup of the night – the Blue Jays squaring off against the Yankees. New York was able to dominate last night, but it might be a different story with these two pitchers on the mound.

Let’s get right into the bets for today, with odds coming from consensus lines and WynnBET Sportsbook.

MLB Best Bets Today

  • Alek Manoah OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-125)
  • Jameson Tallion UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (-150)

Alek Manoah OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-125)

Manoah has missed this line in three of his last five starts, but that’s okay. He’s pitching against the Yankees today and their aggressive bats lend towards strikeouts – especially for Manoah. He’s racked up seven strikeouts in each of his two starts against the Yankees this season. He clearly likes this matchup, and I think he’ll be able to slow down a Yankees offense that put up 12 runs yesterday.

Jameson Tallion UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (-150)

Tallion has pitched against the Blue Jays three times this season and has missed this line twice. He’s cleared this line in three of his last four starts, but it’s only been by the hook. I expect him to be on the wrong side of the line today on the road. The Blue Jays average the eighth-fewest strikeouts per game, setting the table for a tough day for Tallion.
