MLB Best Bets Today (Predictions for Ranger Suarez, Chris Bassitt and New York Yankees)
We went 2-1 yesterday, hitting on the Framber Valdez strikeout prop and the Red Sox’s upset. Today, I’m looking at two more strikeout props and another plus money game pick.
Let’s get into it.
MLB Best Bets Today
- Ranger Suarez OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (+106)
- Chris Bassitt OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-116)
- Yankees -1.5 vs. White Sox (+105)
Ranger Suarez OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (+106)
Suarez has a tough task ahead of him today. He’s going to face one of the best offenses in the league and will need to fan at least four of them. He’s coming off a 7-strikeout performance and has cleared this line in three of his last five starts. Normally, I wouldn’t trust a pitcher to have a strikeout fest against the Dodgers, but the number and price here is too good to pass up.
Chris Bassitt OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-116)
I don’t know why this prop doesn’t have more juice on it. Bassitt has cleared this line in every game except one, and that was the last game. However, he’s thrown 8 strikeouts twice this year. I understand the Mets are one of the hardest teams to strike out in the league, but Bassitt has done it against other good teams in baseball.
Yankees -1.5 vs. White Sox (+105)
The Yankees have lit up the White Sox in this series and I’ll back the best team in baseball to keep winning.
New York is putting Jordan Montgomery on the mound today. He’s only allowed 7 runs in five starts and is starting to go six innings as well. If Montgomery deals the way he’s been this season, New York is very live to cover.
At plus money, I’ll gladly take the Yankees to win this game by more than a run. Chicago is 1-3 against the run line in its last four games. The White Sox have given up 25 runs to the Yankees through two matchups. This feels like a game that is played just to get the series over because the 15-16 White Sox don’t look like they can compete right now.
