Welcome to Wednesday everyone!

We're going to be a little different today. I still have my usual strikeout props, but I'm also throwing in a run line pick that's my most confident pick of the day.

I don't want to spend too much more time on the introduction for today, so let's get to it.

MLB Best Bets Today

Michael Kopech OVER 3.5 Strikeouts – Chicago White Sox vs. Seattle Mariners

Kopech has cleared this line in three of his last six starts, even racking up 11 strikeouts in one of those performances. The Mariners are below average when it comes to strikeouts per game, ranking 17th in all of baseball.

If Kopech can stay on the mound longer than he did in his last start – when he didn’t record a single out – then four strikeouts is very manageable

Luis Castillo OVER 7.5 Strikeouts – Seattle Mariners vs. Chicago White Sox

I won’t lie. Castillo has a tough matchup tonight.

The White Sox average the seventh-fewest strikeouts per game. Castillo has only cleared this line twice in his last five outings, but I have faith he can cash for us. He’s coming off a scoreless outing against the Guardians.

If he can maintain that level of dominance, the strikeouts will come. Castillo has faced good hitting teams this season and has cleared this line before. I like the plus money aspect of this, so we’ll go all in on this one.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 vs. San Francisco Giants

Last season, the Giants and Dodgers were in a winner-take-all game to go to the NLCS. They’re no longer on equal footing, and the Dodgers’ record against the Giants this season proves it.

The Dodgers are 11-4 SU and on the run line against San Francisco this year. The only games they haven’t covered in were the ones they lost. If they’re winning, its by more than one run. That’s been the case all season long and it’ll hold true tonight.

With Clayton Kershaw on the mound, Los Angeles has an edge at the pitching spot. In his last five starts, he allowed just over 2 runs per start.

Los Angeles has won nine of the last 10 matchups with the Giants, so expect more dominance tonight.
