MLB Best Bets Today (Strikeouts, Strikeouts & More Strikeouts)
Happy Tuesday everyone!
I’m back with three strikeout props for today’s slate and am ready to hit the sweep. Sometimes, you just have to put faith in people and give them a vote of confidence, which is why we’re going with three OVERs today.
Let’s get the positive energy rolling!
MLB Best Bets Today
Mitch White OVER 3.5 Strikeouts – Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles
White, despite losing three of his first five starts with the Jays, has been solid when it comes to this prop. He’s cleared it in three straight games by more than just the hook. White is facing the Orioles today, who are 19th in the Majors in strikeouts per game.
It’s not too much of a challenge to get the Orioles swinging and missing. If White can stay on the mound for around five innings, he can easily clear this.
Framber Valdez OVER 5.5 Strikeouts – Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers
Valdez is on an absolute hot streak right now. He’s cleared this line in six of his last seven starts and he’s recorded a win in seven of his last eight starts. He’s dealing at a high level and I expect him to continue to do so tonight at home.
In four starts against the Rangers this year, Valdez is 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA and is averaging seven strikeouts per game. He knows how to dominate the Rangers, so expect a solid day of work from him.
Taijuan Walker OVER 4.5 Strikeouts – New York Mets vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
This is an easy one for me.
Walker is playing the second-worst strikeout team in the league and we can get his line at plus money. Walker has cleared this line in two of his last four games. In his last starts against the Reds and Angels – both both who are in the bottom of strikeouts per game – he crushed this prop. I’m going to back him to do the same thing tonight against another terrible strikeout team.
