It was another 1-1 day for us yesterday, with us hitting on the Nestor Cortes UNDER, but missing out on the Josiah Gray over. Today, we're looking for a 2-0 day with two pitchers facing subpar teams.

You can also find game-by-game betting plays and previews for every matchup on our MLB Picks page, as well as each team's probable pitchers, weather report and more.

  • Chris Flexen OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-144) – FanDuel Sportsbook

Michael Kopech OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (+115) – PointsBet Sportsbook

Michael Kopech hasn't surpassed 5.5 innings since June 29th, but I have confidence he'll be able to get the job done today.

He and the White Sox will take on the Texas Rangers today, and luckily for him, the Rangers have been terrible in the strikeout department as of late. Dating back to July 1st, the Rangers rank 25th in strikeout rate, going down in 25% of their plate appearances. Kopech went seven innings deep in his last start, and if he can do the same today, he'll be given plenty of time to reach six strikeouts against this Texas lineup. I love the bet, especially at +115 odds. – Iain MacMillan

Chris Flexen OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-144) – FanDuel Sportsbook

I’m all in on Flexen having a great night. I thought he would be in the early game, but Seattle moved his matchup to Game 2 of the double-header. Still, Flexen will be dominant regardless of the time. Flexen has cleared this line in two of his last five starts. Yet, he facing the team that averages the most strikeouts per game and has the highest strikeout percentage in the league.

Taking the OVER on a pitcher’s strikeout props when he’s facing the Angels has been a great strategy for me all season – especially when they’re on fire like Flexen. – Donnavan Smoot
