There are a few divisional races around the MLB, but the one that is most captivating is the AL Central. Sure, the NewYork Mets and Atlanta Braves are going back and forth, but both of those teams will be in the playoffs for sure and a Wild Card spot isn’t so scary with the new format.

In the AL Central, you either win the division or you’re on your couch in October. That’s why I’ve put together the “AL Central Parlay” for today. That and I love these bets.

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today

Twins vs. Royals +100

In this one I’m not taking the team that is still in it. Minnesota has been falling apart down the stretch, and I think that continues today. Mostly because of the Royals aging pitcher.

Zack Greinke’s numbers do not indicate that he is the same guy and that I should trust him in a spot like this, but look a little closer and you’ll see it. Greinke is a disaster on the road and that has colored his season statistics, but at home he is an ace.

Greinke has made 12 starts on the road and has an 0-7 record with a 6.36 ERA. He has made 11 starts at home and is 4-2 with a 1.93 ERA. He is a completely different pitcher and one I trust to win outright as a slight home underdog.

Guardians vs. White Sox -172

Now, this series is really where the division is going to be won or lost. The White Sox are four-games behind the Guardians at the moment and will need to have a big series to give themselves a chance. I believe the Guardians are the best team in the Central and I think they will eventually win it, but tonight they just have an awful matchup.

Dylan Cease is one of the best pitchers in baseball and while his last start he gave up three runs and wasn’t quite his best self, he still has a 2.16 ERA and a 14-7 record in 29 starts. He has made three starts against Cleveland and has a 2.12 ERA and has only allowed a .400 OPS.

It doesn’t really matter who is on the other side, but Aaron Civale and his 5.40 ERA might be the worst option that the Guardians have.

MLB Parlay for September 20, 2022

The “All AL Central Parlay” +216

  • Twins vs. Royals +100
  • Guardians vs. White Sox -172

This is not the longest odds, but it is a nice two-leg parlay that pays out pretty well. I think there is a lot of value here, especially getting the Royals as a slight home underdog. With two big series in the division to keep an eye on it’ll be the perfect parlay for tonight.
