It’s a busy Thursday in MLB with a number of fantastic series kicking off. With so much going on, I wanted to construct a little MLB Parlay for today to maximize my potential profits heading into the weekend. Let's get started, with all odds courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best MLB Parlay Picks for June 2

  • Chicago Cubs ML vs. St. Louis Cardinals (-105)
  • Atlanta Braves ML vs. Colorado Rockies (-143)
  • New York Mets ML vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (+147)

A $25 wager on this parlay would win $179.87 if it hits!

St. Louis Cardinals ML vs. Chicago Cubs (-105)

While I expect this game to be a battle on the mound between Matthew Liberatore and Keegan Thompson, the Cardinals are too hot to bet against right now. This is especially true on the road where they are 13-10 overall. The Cubs, on the other hand, are 9-17 at Wrigley. The Cards are 10-2 in their last 12 games and coming off a 3-0 sweep against the Padres. Liberatore is making his third career start but has looked very sharp in limited work. At 1-0 with a 3.72 ERA and 1.45 WHIP, I like his chances against the Cubs who rank 18th in batting average.

Atlanta Braves vs. Colorado Rockies OVER 11 (+100)

Fans of high-scoring games are going to love this one. Ian Anderson and Austin Gomber will face off tonight in the thin air of Denver and I don’t see it going well for either starter. Anderson enters with a 4.34 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 47 ⅔ innings. Gomber has similar starts with a 5.51 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 47 ⅓ innings.  Anderson gave up four runs in each of his last two starts and is allowing an awful lot of home runs this year. Gomber got bombed for eight runs on Saturday against the Washington Nationals on the road. The Nats are one of the worst teams in the league right now and have no business scoring eight runs on anyone. Three of the last four games that Gomber has pitched went over this hefty total. 11 is a lot of runs but I think this game turns into a fireworks show.

New York Mets ML vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (+147)

I realize the Los Angeles Dodgers are a great team, but I am really questioning this line against the New York Mets tonight. First of all, the Dodgers just got swept by the lowly Pirates in three games at home. They lost those games by a combined score of 19-12 in what has to be the most embarrassing series for LA this year. Tony Gonsolin will get the start tonight and has been phenomenal this year. With a 5-0 record, 1.80 ERA, and 0.93 WHIP, I can understand why the Dodgers are favored here. But the odds are way too long for my taste. The Mets have the best record in the National League, are on a six-game winning streak, and are +147 on the money line. I’m not going to pass up a chance to get the best team in the NL at those odds.
