The Major League Baseball Playoffs have a different look to them in 2022, and if it reminds anyone of the NCAA basketball tournament, it's by design.

While no single elimination games exist, every team is divided up into seeds, with no re-seeding as the postseason advances.

As part of the new collective bargaining agreement, MLB agreed to add an extra team into the mix for the postseason, creating three wild card teams in addition to each league's division winners.

The two teams with the best records in each league receive a bye from their respective wild card rounds, leaving four teams to play a weekend best-of-three series this weekend.

Major League Baseball's postseason matchups get underway this Friday with Game 1 of the Wild Card round at 12:07 p.m. ET between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians from Progressive Field.

Here's your reset odds for each team win the World Series, as well as the AL and NL pennant in Major League Baseball.
