Another week, another edition of BetSided's MLB Power Rankings.

Not only do we rank the best teams in baseball, but relate it to their World Series odds at WynnBET Sportsbook throughout the season.

The New York Yankees continue to dominate early, but there are a few teams surging in the standings after slow starts. How does everyone stack up?

Here are the rankings as of May 16, 2022:

1. New York Yankees (+750) LW: No. 2

What more can you say about this Yankees team? They're coming off a dominant week where they won five out of six against the White Sox and Blue Jays, and have the No. 3 OPS and No. 1 team ERA in baseball.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers (+475) Last Week: No. 1

The Dodgers faltered a bit last week, but still have MLB's best run differential at +70. They remain the favorites in the odds to win it all at WynnBET.

3. New York Mets (+800) LW: No. 3

The Mets are just 5-5 over their last 10 games, but haven't lost their top spot in the NL East. Hopefully Max Scherzer allows people to throw out first pitches the rest of the season.

4. Houston Astros (+800) LW: No. 8

Who needs Carlos Correa? The Astros have won nine of their last 10 games and are now third in the odds to win the World Series this season.

5. Los Angeles Angels (+1800) LW: No. 6

Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani are living up to expectations in 2022, and the Angels have moved from +2500 to +1800 to win the World Series in the last week. Plus, Reid Detmers threw a no-hitter. What a week.

6. San Diego Padres (+1500) LW: No. 4

The Padres deserve a ton of respect for playing so well without Fernando Tatis Jr., and Manny Machado has established himself as a legit NL MVP candidate.

7. Milwaukee Brewers (+1200) LW: No. 7

The Brewers pitching carried them last season, and this season the bats have woken up, ranking fifth in OPS through their first 35 games.

8. San Francisco Giants (+2000) LW: No. 13

The Giants are 20-14, but have an impressive +33 run differential, which tells me they are due for some positive regression going forward.

9. Tampa Bay Rays (+2000) LW: No. 7

The Rays always seem to be good, so I'm not counting them out, but a negative run differential and middling metrics on both offense and defense aren't ideal so far.

10. Minnesota Twins (+3000) LW: No. 10

The Twins are 5-5 in their last 10 games, so they are one of the few teams that gets to keep the same spot in this week's rankings.

11. St. Louis Cardinals (+3000) LW: No. 11

The Cardinals continue to hit the ball well, ranking ninth in OPS, and Adam Wainwright is back from a bout with COVID-19. They certainly will challenge the Brewers in the NL Central.

12. Toronto Blue Jays (+900) LW: No. 9

The Blue Jays have lost seven of their last 10 and have struggled against the rival Yankees this season. They're going to need to take advantage when their schedule lightens up.

13. Cleveland Guardians (+8000) LW: No. 14

The Guardians have played just 12 (!) home games so far this season and weathered the storm with a 16-17 record and a positive run differential.

14. Chicago White Sox (+1500) LW: No. 12

The White Sox dropped three of four to the Yankees, but they seemed to be turning a corner prior to that series. I still wouldn't bet them at this number.

15. Philadelphia Phillies (+2500) LW: No. 19

The Phillies are on the rise, as they've moved into No. 1 in the league in OPS and third in runs scored. Zack Wheeler is also turning things around after a tough start, something that Philly fans will breathe a sigh of relief at.

16. Atlanta Braves (+1500) LW: No. 15

The World Series hangover hasn't subsided for the Braves who rank 24th in team ERA this season.

17. Arizona Diamondbacks (+40000) LW: No. 18

Arizona is still struggling to hit (24th in OPS) and yet it is still over .500 and playing well 35 games into the season. If the bats get going, this team could be interesting.

18. Miami Marlins (+8000) LW: No. 17

The Marlins have a positive run differential and are one of the best run line teams in MLB, yet they have lost seven of 10 games. There's going to be a lot of ups and downs with this young team, especially with Jesus Luzardo now on the IL.

19. Seattle Mariners (+5000) LW: No. 20

The Mariners are three games under .500, but they have a few gems in young starters Logan Gilbert and George Kirby. Things are looking up in Seattle.

20. Colorado Rockies (+15000) LW: No. 16

The Rockies have come back to earth, losing seven of their last 10 to fall to .500 and last place in the NL West. Their negative-28 run differential is starting to catch up with them.

21. Texas Rangers (+30000) LW: No. 23

The Rangers are playing better as of late, posting a .500 record in their last 10 games. They'll need Corey Seager to get going to keep pace in a competitive AL West.

22. Chicago Cubs (+15000) LW: No. 24

The Cubs only have a minus-11 run differential, but they are still in the bottom third of the league in OPS and ERA.

23. Boston Red Sox (+6000) LW: No. 21

The Red Sox are in last place in the AL East still, and they've gone just 3-7 in their last 10. Boston's offense was a strength in 2021, but the team is just 24th in OPS this season.

24. Detroit Tigers (+30000) LW: No. 27

The Tigers shouldn't be moving up in these rankings, but other teams have been worse with Detroit winning three straight and getting some solid starts from youngster Tarik Skubal.

25. Kansas City Royals (+30000) LW: No. 25

The Royals are just 27th in MLB in OPS, and they have the second worst run differential in the league. Despite that, they're somehow 4-6 in their last 10 games.

26. Baltimore Orioles (+100000) LW: No. 22

The Orioles have just 13 wins this season and they are 3-7 in their last 10 games. After a strong start on the mound, the team has fallen to 17th in ERA.

27. Pittsburgh Pirates (+50000) LW: No. 28

The Pirates are hanging on in a horrible NL Central, but whenever you get no-hit by the Reds, even if you win, you can't be very good.

28. Oakland Athletics (+50000) LW: No. 21

The A's are in the basement in the AL West, and while they rebounded from losing nine straight, this team just doesn't have enough talent to be. playoff contender.

29. Washington Nationals (+50000) LW: No. 29

The Nationals have the second worst ERA in baseball and a negative-36 run differential. At least they aren't this next team...

30. Cincinnati Reds (+100000) LW: No. 30

The Reds no-hit the Pirates on Sunday and lost. It's becoming comical how bad this team is at this point.
