We're reaching the quarter mark of the 2022 MLB season, and the top 10-15 teams in baseball are really starting to take shape.

The New York Mets could be in trouble without Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom, but they still find themselves in the top five in this week's MLB Power Rankings based on the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook to win the World Series.

1. New York Yankees (+750) LW: No. 1

The Yankees may have dropped both games of a doubleheader with the White Sox on Sunday, but they still have the best record in MLB. Losing Chad Green for the season is tough, so others will have to step up in the bullpen.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers (+475) Last Week: No. 1

The Dodgers still have the best run differential in baseball, and they don't even have Clayton Kershaw and Dustin May in the rotation due to injury.

3. Houston Astros (+800) LW: No. 4

The Astros just keep on winning. They lose Carlos Correa in the offseason, and rookie Jeremy Pena is now the favorite to win AL ROY. The rich get richer.

4. New York Mets (+800) LW: No. 3

The Mets drop a spot this week, as they are now down both Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom. Can the rotation hold up through the summer?

5. San Diego Padres (+1500) LW: No. 6

The Padres have won four straight games and are just half a game behind the Dodgers in the NL West. Do they finally break through and make the playoffs this year?

6. Los Angeles Angels (+1500) LW: No. 5

The Angels' offense is insane. They have the No. 2 OPS in the league and have the two leading candidates to win the AL MVP. The Astros will be tough to overtake, but if the pitching staff holds up behind Shohei Ohtani, the Angels will be dangerous in the playoffs.

7. Milwaukee Brewers (+1200) LW: No. 7

The Brewers have a solid grip on the NL Central, but Freddy Peralta's shoulder injury is an ominous sign heading into the summer months.

8. Minnesota Twins (+3000) LW: No. 10

The Twins have won four straight and are showing they must be taken seriously in the AL Central.

9. Tampa Bay Rays (+2000) LW: No. 9

The Rays are staying steady and are now within five games of the Yankees in the AL East.

10. San Francisco Giants (+2000) LW: No. 8

The Giants dropped four straight games and have fallen two spots this week. I still believe in this team, but they seem destined for a step back after winning the division in 2021.

11. St. Louis Cardinals (+3000) LW: No. 11

The Cardinals are impressive, posting a plus-45 run differential and ranking sixth in the league in OPS. Nolan Arenado is a legit NL MVP candidate so far this season.

12. Toronto Blue Jays (+900) LW: No. 12

I'll continue to respect the Jays because they are so high in the odds. However, this team needs to go on a run soon with the Yankees and Rays playing some solid baseball early in the season.

13. Chicago White Sox (+1500) LW: No. 14

The White Sox still need their offense to turn things around, but they did just take two straight from the Yankees to move within four games of the Twins in the AL Central.

14. Philadelphia Phillies (+2500) LW: No. 15

Bryce Harper is back and the Phillies are trending up with ace Zack Wheeler really starting to turn things around over his last few starts.

15. Atlanta Braves (+1500) LW: No. 16

I'm still waiting for this Braves team to find itself, but the slow start could continue into June.

16. Cleveland Guardians (+8000) LW: No. 13

The Guardians are now behind the Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central. They have a positive run differential, but this team is coming back to earth.

17. Boston Red Sox (+6000) LW: No. 23

Here come the Red Sox! Boston has won eight of its last 10 and five straight games. If the pitching staff can hold up, this Red Sox offense is dangerous when its hot.

18. Miami Marlins (+8000) LW: No. 18

The Marlins are staying the same spot after a solid week. They may be 18-22, but their plus-17 run differential tells me they are a little better than their record suggests

19. Arizona Diamondbacks (+40000) LW: No. 17

I was starting to come around on this Diamondbacks team, and now they've lost seven of 10. Go figure. Zac Gallen is a leading Cy Young candidate, but the team needs to get him some run support.

20. Colorado Rockies (+15000) LW: No. 16

The Rockies really let Trevor Story walk to sign Kris Bryant? Tough scene. Colorado continues to slip below .500 after losing seven of 10.

21. Texas Rangers (+30000) LW: No. 23

The Rangers have improved after a dreadful start to the season, but they're still just 18-22 with a negative run differential. They rank 23rd in team ERA and 22nd in OPS through their first 40 games.

22. Seattle Mariners (+5000) LW: No. 19

The Seattle Mariners have some promising young pitchers, but they have lost four straight and are in danger of falling into last in the AL West.

23. Chicago Cubs (+15000) LW: No. 22

There's reason to believe in the Cubs, since they only have a minus-2 run differential, but they have been awful at home (7-15) through their first 40 games.

24. Pittsburgh Pirates (+50000) LW: No. 28

The Pirates are somehow third in the NL Central despite a league-worst minus-88 run differential. They'll likely be pushing the Reds for the basement in the division.

25. Baltimore Orioles (+100000) LW: No. 26

The Orioles are hanging on by a thread at 17-25, but they are slightly above most of the bottom dwellers in baseball now. Adley Rutchsman was called up this weekend, which could be a sign of a new era in Baltimore.

26. Oakland Athletics (+50000) LW: No. 28

The A's have lost seven of their last 10 games, but we all expected this after they traded away Matt Olson, Sean Manaea and Matt Chapman.

27. Detroit Tigers (+30000) LW: No. 24

The Tigers are 14-26 and have scored just 110 runs this season, by far the fewest in baseball.

28. Kansas City Royals (+30000) LW: No. 25

The Royals have lost four straight games and are one of the worst offenses in MLB. The AL Central is up for the taking, but the Royals don't appear to be in that mix.

29. Washington Nationals (+50000) LW: No. 29

The Nationals have lost seven of their last 10 games and now there are rumors that they are going to potentially move Juan Soto. Can things get worse?

30. Cincinnati Reds (+100000) LW: No. 30

The Reds have a team ERA of 5.61. and are still 12-28 despite winning six of their last 10 games.
