The New York Yankees are in trouble, losing five straight games and struggling mightily since the league's trade deadline, especially in the pitching department.

Meanwhile, the National League's top two teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets, are rolling into the final two months of the regular season.

Every week at BetSided, yours truly shares the latest Power Rankings for MLB in relation to the odds to win the World Series at WynnBET Sportsbook. Let's dive into this week's rankings:

1. Los Angeles Dodgers (+400) Last Week: No. 3

The Dodgers dominated the new-look Padres and have won eight straight to take back the title of the league's best record.

2. New York Mets (+600) LW: No. 4

Jacob deGrom is back, and the Mets took four of five from the Braves to extend their lead in the NL East.

3. Houston Astros (+425) LW: No. 1

The Astros have 70 wins, but they fall behind the two NL teams after playing .500 ball last week.

4. New York Yankees (+350) LW: No. 2

The Yankees have lost five straight and have some serious questions in their rotation with the playoffs nearing.

5. Atlanta Braves (+1250) LW: No. 5

The Braves keep their No. 5 spot, but they didn't do themselves any favors in their series with the Mets...

6. Toronto Blue Jays (+1600) LW: No. 7

The Jays are thriving right now, cutting the Yankees' lead in the AL East to under 10 games with plenty of baseball left to play.

7. St. Louis Cardinals (+4000) LW: No. 11

The Cardinals swept the Yankees over the weekend and have taken a two-game lead over the Brewers in the NL Central.

8. San Diego Padres (+1250) LW: No. 6

The Padres are taking a bit of a dive here, after showing that they aren't quite yet on the Los Angeles Dodgers' level in the NL West.

9. Seattle Mariners (+2500) LW: No. 8

Seattle's odds keep climbing, and the team has a huge home series with the Yankees to start the week.

10. Philadelphia Phillies (+3000) LW: No. 10

The Phillies are making a playoff push, winning nine of their last 10 and five straight since making several moves at the deadline.

11. Tampa Bay Rays (+5000) LW: No. 13

It would've been nice to see the Rays do more at the deadline, but they have a better record than the entire AL Central right now.

12. Minnesota Twins (+5000) LW: No. 12

The Twins are clinging to a lead in the AL Central, and they may need to win the division to have any chance at the playoffs.

13. Milwaukee Brewers (+3000) LW: No. 9

If the season ended today, the Brewers would miss the playoffs. Maybe you shouldn't trade away your All-Star closer when you are leading the division?

14. Cleveland Guardians (+10000) LW: No. 14

Back-to-back wins have put the Guardians just a game out of first place in the AL Central.

15. Chicago White Sox (+5000) LW: No. 15

The White Sox still have legs in the AL Central, and they may have the firepower to make a late run and secure a spot in the postseason.

16. Baltimore Orioles (+20000) LW: No. 17

The Orioles are inching closer to an AL Wild Card spot, and they've won seven of their last 10...

17. San Francisco Giants (+10000) LW: No. 16

The Giants are now UNDER .500 on the season, but they still have a positive run differential, if you want a silver lining. Still, it appears they're going to miss the postseason in 2022.

18. Boston Red Sox (+10000) LW: No. 18

The Red Sox are the best last-place team in baseball, but they're still in last place...

19. Miami Marlins (+50000) LW: No. 19

The Marlins have lost seven of their last 10 games, and injuries have taken a toll on the team's offensive attack.

20. Texas Rangers (+50000) LW: No. 20

The Rangers (21st in ERA) simply don't enough pitching to truly compete for an AL playoff spot.

21. Arizona Diamondbacks (+200000) LW: No. 22

Arizona is flipping back and forth with the Rockies for last place in the division.

22. Colorado Rockies (+200000) LW: No. 21

Seven losses in your last 10 games will lead to dropping a spot in the latest power rankings.

23. Los Angeles Angels (+50000) LW: No. 23

The Angles are the biggest disappointment in the league this season, and now they have to worry about Mike Trout's future in baseball due to his back injury.

24. Kansas City Royals (+200000) LW: No. 25

The Royals' young core is actually playing decently, winning back-to-back games over the weekend and five of their last 10.

25. Detroit Tigers (+200000) LW: No. 27

The Tigers move up a spot purely because the Cubs have been worse and nothing of their own doing.

26. Cincinnati Reds (+500000) LW: No. 27

The Reds have moved into third in the NL Central, winning six of 10 and two straight heading into a series with the Mets this week.

27. Chicago Cubs (+200000) LW: No. 25

The Cubs decided not to sell at the deadline, and now they're last in the NL Central... I have questions.

28. Pittsburgh Pirates (+200000) LW: No. 28

Oneil Cruz makes the Pirates watchable, but you can't expect good baseball to be played by a team with the league's second worst run differential.

29. Oakland Athletics (+500000) LW: No. 29

Oakland is going to be hard pressed to leave the bottom five at any point this season.

30. Washington Nationals (+500000) LW: No. 30

Trade Juan Soto, lose five straight. That's the Washington Nationals way.
