For the final time this season, we’ll have multiple baseball games to bet on. We have Game 4 of the ALCS happening in the Bronx, and Game 5 of the NLCS from Philadelphia. This is the last game in Philadelphia in this series, as the format is 2-3-2.

The pitching matchups are in for these important games, so let’s dive into them.

San Diego Padres vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

  • Padres: Yu Darvish
  • Phillies: Zack Wheeler

Both of these starters were terrific in Game 1 of this series, tossing seven innings apiece.

However, two solo home runs doomed Darvish, who gave up just three hits in the game. Wheeler, who allowed just one hit across seven innings of work, has been dominant this postseason and now has a chance to close out the series.

If anything, I'd lean towards a first five innings UNDER in this game, as each team's hot bats should cool off with a terrific pitching matchup this afternoon.

Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees Probable Pitchers

  • Astros: Lance McCullers
  • Yankees: Nestor Cortes

McCullers was called upon against the Mariners and answered the call perfectly. He went six innings, allowed two hits and zero runs. However, in his three road starts this season, McCullers ERA was double what it was at home.

As for Cortes, he’s regained his early season form. He’s only allowed four runs over his last five starts and has only allowed one home run in that span as well.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
