MLB Probable Pitchers for Thursday, September 29 (Who's Starting for Every MLB Team Today?)

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is almost assuredly winning the American League MVP this year, but his top competitor for the award makes his final start of the season this evening.
Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani makes his final start of the regular season this evening from Angel Stadium in an AL West divisional matchup against the Oakland Athletics this evening.
After winning the MVP a season ago, Ohtani's followed it up with an even better 2022. On the mound, he enters his last start with a 2.47 ERA with 203 strikeouts in 153 innings, compared to a 3.18 ERA in 130.1 innings a season ago with 156 punchouts.
Perhaps the best pitcher in the National League makes his final start of the season as well, as San Francisco Giants left-hander Carlos Rodón gets the ball at home against the Colorado Rockies. In his first season by the bay, Rodón is likely to lead the NL in strikeouts/nine innings, as well as Fielding Independent Pitching, or FIP (2.34).
A little earlier in the night, the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians match up in a potential American League wild card round preview from Cleveland, as left-hander Jeffrey Springs takes on righty Cal Quantrill.
