There's so much value on the board today that I don't even know where to begin. I love several underdogs, so choosing my favorite is like picking a favorite Skittle. They're all good, why would I choose?

I'll do my best here, but I encourage you to check out the previews from our BetSided team for each game to ensure you've got the perfect bet slip at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Let's dive into my favorite MLB underdog of the day, using the odds from WynnBET:

Rangers vs Mets Odds, Run Line and Total

Run Line:

  • Rangers +1.5 (-185)
  • Mets -1.5 (+152)

Moneyline:

  • Rangers: +118
  • Mets: -128

Total:

  • 8.0 (Over -110/Under -110)

Best MLB Underdog Pick Today

In one corner, we've got Jon Gray. He's held his opponent to two runs or fewer in five of his last six starts as he compiled a 3-1 record and 2.39 ERA in June.

In the other corner, we've got Carlos Carrasco. He's got a 9.94 ERA in his last four starts, giving up seven home runs and issuing eight walks in that stretch.

Guess which corner is favored?

I know the Mets are dominant as home favorites, but Carrasco's sudden turn into one of the league's worst pitchers mitigates any advantage New York's lineup may hold. The funny thing is, the Mets' lineup doesn't even hold an advantage! They have the league's worst OPS against right-handed pitchers over the last two weeks while the Rangers have the ninth-best.

Texas is 4-1 in their last five as road underdogs and shouldn't be underdogs with Gray on the mound.

Pick: Rangers (+118)

Orioles vs Twins Odds, Run Line and Total

Run Line:

  • Orioles +1.5 (-165)
  • Twins -1.5 (+135)

Moneyline:

  • Orioles: +140
  • Twins: -150

Total:

  • 9.0 (Over -105/Under -115)

Bonus MLB Underdog Pick Today

It's a holiday weekend and I couldn't resist a bonus pick. Sue me.

The Orioles have won six straight behind Tyler Wells, returning a $100 moneyline bettor $756. That'll play, and I think the Twins' luck runs out against him today. Baltimore has one of the league's best bullpens, but their relievers collapsed in each of the last two games to give Minnesota walk-off wins.

I don't see that happening in this one. Those six straight wins behind Wells? They came by a combined score of 47-12. It's bananas.

While Devin Smeltzer has pitched well, his last two starts came against the Guardians, who have the league's worst OPS against left-handed pitchers. The Orioles are much more formidable, and were on a roll until their bullpen gave those last two games away.

At +140, I'm thrilled to continue backing the Tyler Wells money train.

Pick: Orioles (+140)

You're welcome to play both picks individually, but if you're feeling spicy then a two-team parlay has odds of +423, or $105.80 profit from a $25 bet.
