Weather can play a major role in baseball games every day, as rain, wind or other conditions can impact starting pitchers and hitters alike.

Every day at BetSided, we share the forecast for each game, as well as the total from WynnBET to help you find betting value based on the weather. Today, it’s looking like a relatively solid day for baseball, with very little rain in any forecast.

Let’s jump into the reports for Tuesday, June 21:

Colorado Rockies (+117) vs. Miami Marlins (-127) Weather

  • Total: 8
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

Los Angeles Dodgers (-180) vs. Cincinnati Reds (+165) Weather

  • Total: 9.5
  • Forecast: 92 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left field at 5 mph

There shouldn’t be too much betting impact in this one, but the Reds do have an awful pitching staff, so any wind blowing out could lead to a few more runs.

Chicago Cubs (+138) vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (-148) Weather

  • Total: 8.5
  • Forecast: 90 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left field at 9 mph

The ball may fly today in Pittsburgh, and it’s hard to stay away from an OVER between two teams that have struggled pitching so far this season.

Detroit Tigers (+177) vs. Boston Red Sox (-195) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 70 degrees and sunny, chance of rain of 6 percent, wind blowing towards left field at 6 mph

This is one of the cooler weather games on the slate today. With the Tigers’ lack of offense and no crazy conditions, I lean with the UNDER.

Washington Nationals vs. Baltimore Orioles Weather

  • Total: TBD
  • Forecast: 83 degrees and sunny, chance of rain of 7%, wind blowing out to left field at 6 mph

The pitching matchup for this game hasn’t been set, but these two teams are both in the bottom 10 in the league in ERA, so I lean to the OVER.

New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays Weather

  • Total: TBD
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

San Francisco Giants (+150) vs. Atlanta Braves (-160) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 95 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 6 mph

We have a battle between two strong offenses, and the Braves are as hot as any team in baseball. Warm weather and the wind blowing out sounds like it could push this game OVER.

Cleveland Guardians (+150) vs. Minnesota Twins (-160) Weather

  • Total: 9.5
  • Forecast: 87 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 16 mph

This total certainly is factoring in a strong wind in Minnesota. This is a game to target some home run props for sure.

Philadelphia Phillies (+103) vs. Texas Rangers (-113) Weather

  • Total: 8.5
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

New York Mets (+117) vs. Houston Astros (-127) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

St. Louis Cardinals (-146) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (+136) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

Toronto Blue Jays (-128) vs. Chicago White Sox (+118) Weather

  • Total: 8.5
  • Forecast: 95 degrees and sunny, chance of rain of 2%, wind blowing out to left field at 16 mph

Another wind game in Chicago, and it could be worth taking the OVER with two strong offenses facing off.

Kansas City Royals (+139) vs. Los Angeles Angels (-149) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 77 degrees and sunny, chance of rain of 5%, wind blowing out to left field at 6 mph

The Kansas City offense has been questionable all season, but the forecast does favor offense on Tuesday.

Arizona Diamondbacks (+115) vs. San Diego Padres (-125) Weather

  • Total: 7
  • Forecast: 71 degrees and sunny, chance of rain of 6%, wind blowing out to right center at 4 mph

This is the lowest total on the board today because of a strong pitching matchup.

Seattle Mariners (-136) vs. Oakland Athletics (+126) Weather

  • Total: 8.5
  • Forecast: 88 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 5 mph

The two basement dwellers in the AL West have struggled on offense, so the weather may not be a huge factor here.
