Every Major League Baseball team is in action on Tuesday, so there are plenty of games to wager on. But how can you get an advantage?

One of the ways is by targeting games with favorable weather conditions, whether it is wind blowing out at a hitter-friendly park, or increased temperatures that will let the ball travel in a stadium with high elevation. 

Here at BetSided, we break down the forecast and its betting impact every day for the games in Major League Baseball. Let’s jump into today’s games, with all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook: 

Minnesota Twins (-107) vs. Cleveland Guardians (-103) Game 1 Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 74 degrees and sunny, wind blowing in from left field at 5 mph

Don’t be surprised if we see a low-scoring affair in the first game of the doubleheader even with an average pitching matchup, as both teams will likely be splitting their lineups between the two games. 

Oakland Athletics (+162) vs. New York Yankees (-177) Weather

  • Total: 8
  • Forecast: 78 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left center field at 5 mph

This could be a good spot to take the OVER after a high-scoring game last night. The wind blowing out could help the Yankees’ bats even more. 

Atlanta Braves (+106) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (-116) Weather

  • Total: 7.5
  • Forecast: 77 degrees and sunny, wind blowing in from left field at 5 mph

Don’t see a ton of betting impact from the weather in this one as it’s pretty standard conditions. 

Pittsburgh Pirates (+104) vs. Washington Nationals (-114) Weather

  • Total: 8.5
  • Forecast: 80 degrees and sunny, wind slightly blowing in from left at 2 mph

The weather shouldn't be too much of a factor on what should be a clear night in Washington. 

Boston Red Sox (+123) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (-133) Weather 

  • Total: 9.5
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.  

Minnesota Twins (-109) vs. Cleveland Guardians (-101) Game 2 Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 76 degrees and sunny, wind blowing in from center field at 4 mph

The wind shouldn’t play too much of a factor since it won’t be strong, but the fact that it is blowing in could help UNDER bettors. 

Houston Astros (-112) vs. New York Mets (+102) Weather

  • Total: 8
  • Forecast: 76 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 5 mph

The wind shouldn’t be a major factor, but for two teams with a lot of home run power, it certainly is a nice boost if you want to take the OVER. 

Milwaukee Brewers (+100) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-110) Weather

  • Total: 7
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome. 

Miami Marlins (+130) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (-140) Weather

  • Total: 8.5
  • Forecast: 83 degrees and sunny, wind blowing from first base line at 3 mph

It’s going to be a warm one in St. Louis, but there doesn’t seem to be any abnormal weather that will affect this matchup. 

Cincinnati Reds (+104) vs. Chicago Cubs (-114) Weather 

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 79 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 10 mph

Here we go! There’s nothing like a windy day at Wrigley, and with two poor pitching staffs facing off, the OVER is the bet to make. 

Texas Rangers (-144) vs. Kansas City Royals (+134) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 86 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left center field at 5 mph

The wind and heat should help hitters, but it’s hard to trust the Royals offense in any OVER bet. 

Los Angeles Dodgers (-210) vs. Colorado Rockies (+190) Weather

  • Total: 11
  • Forecast: 89 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left center field at 9 mph

A high total, wind and the elevation in Colorado? That’s a recipe for an OVER.  

Chicago White Sox (+117) vs. Los Angeles Angels (-127) Weather

  • Total: 9
  • Forecast: 77 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left center field at 9 mph

Another warm-weather and windy game, we could see a lot of runs scored, especially with the Angels starting Chase Silseth. 

San Diego Padres (-106) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (-104) Weather

  • Total: 7.5
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

Detroit Tigers (+175) vs. San Francisco Giants (-190) Weather

  • Total: 7
  • Forecast: 60 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 18 mph

This is the coldest game on the schedule but the wind could play a major factory in the Bay Area. With such a low total, the OVER is worth a look. 

Baltimore Orioles (+155) vs. Seattle Mariners (-170) Weather

  • Total: 7.5
  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.
