It’s a rainy day on the East Coast, and that could cause some trouble in several games in Major League Baseball, including the New York Mets-Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Yankees-Minnesota Twins matchups. 

Yesterday, the Mets were rained out in Pittsburgh, which will force a doubleheader between the two teams on Wednesday. 

Weather can play a major factor in MLB games, especially with the total for bettors, as wind, rain and other conditions can change how many runs are scored in a game.

Toronto Blue Jays (-116) vs. Baltimore Orioles (-102) Weather

  • Forecast: 76 degrees with rain expected throughout the night. Chance of rain of 40%. Wind blowing in from left center field at 5 mph, helping the UNDER. 

Minnesota Twins (+172) vs. New York Yankees (-205) Weather

  • Forecast: Thunderstorms expected throughout the night, possible this game is postponed. Chance of rain of 71%. Wind blowing in from center field at 8 mph, helping the UNDER.
