MLB Weather Report for Sunday, May 29 (What's the Forecast for Every MLB Team and Matchup Today?)
By Peter Dewey
There aren't any doubleheaders on the docket in Major League Baseball on Sunday, but we still have 15 games to dive into and some value to find in those matchups.
Weather can certainly impact a game, especially the total, and here at BetSided, we want to let all bettors know when there are conditions, or some wind, that you can take advantage of when betting.
Weather conditions at each MLB stadium can often impact the matchup, as well as the projected total runs on the odds board. Cold weather games with less humidity often lead to lower totals and less runs scored. More hot and humid weather may help the baseball travel further; leading to higher scoring games.
Wind plays a prominent factor as well. For example, with the wind blowing out at Wrigley Field in Chicago, it becomes the most hitter-friendly ballpark in baseball. If blowing in, a traditional home run could easily get blown back into play; turning the Friendly Confines into a pitcher's paradise.
