Looking to place some bets on the 16-game slate in Major League Baseball on Sunday? 

There is plenty of intrigue, especially with a few aces (Carlos Rodon, Zac Gallen, Max Fried) on the mound, but there is also a lot of rain in the forecast, which could affect some of today’s games. 

Every day at BetSided, we break down the weather report for that day’s games and how it could affect the total or the game’s winner. Here’s how things look for Sunday, Sept. 4: 

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Weather

  • Forecast: 77 degrees, rain expected around 2 p.m., two hours after start time. Chance of rain is 20%. Wind blowing in from left field at 2 mph, slightly helping the UNDER. 

Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds Game 1 Weather

  • Forecast: 74 degrees with rain expected all day, chance of rain of 42%, rising to around 67% at 4 p.m., which will affect Game 2. Wind blowing in from center field at 4 mph, helping the UNDER. 

Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves Weather

  • Forecast: 82 degrees with thunderstorms expected, chance of rain of 49%. Wind blowing in from left center field at 6 mph, helping the UNDER. 

Oakland Athletics vs. Baltimore Orioles Weather

  • Forecast: 88 degrees and sunny, chance of rain of 13%. Wind blowing out to left center field at 8 mph, helping the OVER. 

Texas Rangers vs. Boston Red Sox Weather

  • Forecast: 81-83 degrees and sunny at game time, clouds expected to roll in around 3-4 p.m. Wind blowing out to left field at 4 mph, slightly helping the OVER.

New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays Weather

  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome. 

Kansas City Royals vs. Detroit Tigers Weather

  • Forecast: 78 degrees, but rain expected during the game, chance of rain as high as 47%. Wind blowing out to right center field at 6 mph, but rain could shorten game and help UNDER. 

Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets Weather

  • Forecast: 84 degrees and cloudy at game time. Wind blowing out to left field at 5 mph. Rain is expected around 5 p.m. Chance of rain of 33%, but shouldn't play too much of a role in his game with a 1:40 start. 

Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox Weather

  • Forecast: Rain expected prior to game time, but will taper off at the start. Cloudy and 73 degrees with wind blowing in from left field at 12 mph, helping the UNDER. 

Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals Weather

  • Forecast: 76 degrees with thunderstorms expected at game time, chance of rain of 58%. Wind blowing in from center field at 5 mph. With the rain as well, the UNDER may be the best play. 

Seattle Mariners vs. Cleveland Guardians Weather

  • Forecast: 76 degrees with rain expected at game tiem, chance of rain of 52%. Wind blowing out to left field at 4 mph, but another game to be careful if it gets shortened due to the rain. 

Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds Game 2 Weather

  • Forecast: 78 degrees with thunderstorms expected at start time. Chance of rain of 62%. Wind blowing in from center field at 4 mph, slightly helping the UNDER. 

Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Francisco Giants Weather

  • Forecast: 67 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 10 mph, helping the OVER. 

Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels Weather

  • Forecast: 103 degrees (!!) and sunny, chance of rain of 13%. Wind blowing out to center field at 9 mph, helping the OVER. 

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Weather

  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Weather

  • Forecast: 100 degrees and sunny should cool down to low 90s by mid-game, chance of rain of 12%. Wind blowing out to center field at 10 mph, helping the OVER.
