Every Major League Baseball team is in action on Tuesday, which means we could see the weather play a bit of a role in the outcome of some games tonight. 

Rain, wind and other factors can change the trajectory of a game, especially if it gets shortened because of the elements. That can make betting on totals a little tough, but luckily here at BetSided, we break down the weather, odds and how the conditions could affect each game in MLB that night. 

Let’s jump into the action for Tuesday, Aug. 30:

  • Forecast: 83 degrees with thunderstorms expected. Chance of rain of 74%. Wind blowing out to right field at 6 mph, but the rain could lead to a shortened game, helping the UNDER. 

Chicago Cubs vs. Toronto Blue Jays Weather

  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome. 

Seattle Mariners vs. Detroit Tigers Weather

  • Forecast: 77 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to left field at 13 mph, helping the OVER. Chance of rain of 13%. 

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets Weather

  • Forecast: 79 degrees and cloudy, chance of rain of 21%. Wind blowing out to left field at 13 mph. Rain expected later in the night, but the wind should help the OVER. 

Colorado Rockies vs. Atlanta Braves Weather

  • Forecast: 84 degrees and cloudy, chance of rain of 20%. Rain expected prior to game time. Wind blowing out to center field at 6 mph, which should help the OVER. 

Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins Weather

  • Forecast: 77 degrees and sunny, wind blowing out to center field at 8 mph, helping the OVER. 

Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers Weather

  • Forecast: This game is played in a dome.

Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox Weather

  • Forecast: 76 degrees and sunny. Wind blowing out to center field at 12 mph, helping the OVER. 

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers Weather

New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels Weather
