After sneaking into the playoffs last year, they are the favorites and have a stronghold on the No. 1 seed.
Sporting Kansas City is behind the Revolution, but has also played one less game. They are on pace to be the No. 1 seed for the second straight season. Even if they don't catch the Revolution in the regular season, the winner of the Supporter's Shield --which goes to the best regular season team -- they will still have all the chances to take home the main MLS Cup.
